History

Founder Academy started in 2013 as a preschool. In 2015, we took our first major step forward by enrolling our first Standard 1 class. This marked the beginning of our primary school journey and laid the foundation for the academic success that was to come.

As the school grew, so did our reputation for discipline, quality teaching, and genuine care for every learner. Parents and the community began to see Founder Academy as a place where children were not only taught, but truly nurtured.

A Record of Academic Excellence

One of our greatest prides is the performance of our learners in the PSLE. In 2021, our first Standard 7 candidates achieved a 100% pass rate and Position 1 in the Kgatleng Region. That was only the beginning from 2021 to 2025, every PSLE cohort achieved a 100% pass rate. Our regional rankings have included Position 1 in 2021 and 2023, Position 2 in 2022 and 2024, and Position 5 in 2025.

These results are more than numbers. They reflect the hard work of our learners, the dedication of our teachers, the support of our parents, and our unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds. At Founder Academy, we believe every child has potential — and we work every day to help that potential grow.

Giving Back to Our Community

At Founder Academy, education extends beyond the classroom. We believe a school is part of a community, and we are committed to making a positive difference.

In 2024, we donated beds to Matebele Clinic to support patient care and comfort. In the same year, we established a car park at Matebele Police Station to improve access and service delivery.These projects reflect our values of service, compassion, and responsibility. We want our learners to understand that success is not only about personal achievement, but also about lifting others and giving back.

Growing into Secondary Education

In response to growing demand from parents and the success of our primary school, Founder Academy expanded into secondary education. This marked a new chapter in our history and allowed us to offer a continuous, quality English-medium education from early childhood through to secondary school.
