Curriculum

Mathematics & English: Developing strong foundational literacy and numeracy through interactive, engaging methods that make numbers and words come alive.

Environmental Science: Encouraging students to ask "why" and "how" about the world around them, fostering early analytical skills.
Cultural Studies & Setswana: Grounding our students in their heritage, teaching respect for diversity, and building strong local language skills.
I.C.T. (Information and Communication Technology): Ensuring our youngest learners are digitally fluent from day one, using technology safely as a tool for discovery.

Fostering Independence and Ethics

As students mature into Upper Primary, they are ready for greater challenges. This phase is heavily focused on developing independent study habits, ethical reasoning, and critical thinking. We prepare them not just for the academic rigors of secondary school, but for the social and emotional realities of growing up. Our teachers act as mentors, guiding students to take ownership of their learning

Our Approach to Early Learning

The transition into formal schooling is a monumental milestone for both children and parents. In our Lower Primary phase, we prioritize a safe, engaging, and highly supportive atmosphere. With small class sizes, our dedicated teachers ensure that no child is left behind. We focus on developing core literacy and numeracy skills while simultaneously encouraging natural curiosity. At Founders Academy, children do not just sit at desks; they actively explore the world around them.

The Founder's Edge

Even at this early stage, we introduce the concept of "mini-founders." Through collaborative play and group tasks, students learn the basics of teamwork, sharing ideas, and the resilience to try again if a block tower falls or a drawing doesn't go as planned.
